Challenge & Solution
What the client needed, and how we approached it.
Auditors and certifiers of energy management visit controlled factories and controlled buildings to inspect energy management reports. They need a dependable way to show that a visit happened and what was seen, without extra paperwork on site.
As design and development partner to riddec, we designed and built the DEDE (DD) app for a DEDE project so an inspector can take photos and check in with a recorded time while inspecting, in a few simple steps. We also built a website that explains the program and gives users a clear place to learn about it.

Studied how inspectors work on site to define the scope and what must be recorded.

Designed simple screens for use on site, with few steps and large, clear controls.
Mobile App Development
Built a mobile app for field inspectors with camera capture and time-stamped check-in.
